Consulting Engineering in the Metal Stamping Press Industry

Jeff Fredline has over 40 years experience in the Metal Stamping Press Industry, with extensive experience in metal stamping on both the machinery and production sides.

Jeff is an active member of the Precision Metalforming Association, serving on the Southeast and Tennessee District Boards; the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the Forging Institute of America. He is a well-known speaker at both PMA and FIA technical training seminars as well as FABTECH.

Jeff trains on a private basis for many industry leaders, and some of his clients have included General Motors, Chrysler, Whirlpool, and General Electric.

While Jeff’s training is highly customized for each client, we’ve outlined a condensed version of his popular seminar for operators, die setters, engineers and maintenance personnel:
  • How to maximize uptime, even with less-than-perfect machinery
  • The Theory of the Box
  • Safe metal stamping press operations
  • A full understanding of the design and use of metal stamping processes
  • Efficient and practical preventive maintenance inspection procedures
